THE GOOD
The sole on the Active Trail is grippy and knobby and it has a thick scuff guard. It's also comfy and has a thick leather upper.

THE BAD
The breathability is almost fair and it is a bit warm inside. The insert isn't particularly exciting either.

THE FIT & COMFORT
This is a comfortable boot. The Active Trail has a standard foot shape (slight curve and medium width) the same as Merrell and Nike ACG.
